Gajar ka halva
Ingredients
- Carrots grated 2 kg
- Sugar 1 ½ cup
- Green cardamom 10
- Melted ghee ½ cup
- Khoya 250 gm or 1 cup
- Almonds and pistachio 4 tbsp sliced
Method
- In a pan add carrots and sugar, mix well with your hands add in crushed cardamom, cook covered till water dries then add ½ cup melted ghee, fry well for 10 minutes till water dries completely, remove from fire add in crushed khoya and immediately put the halva on top of khoya, leave it for 15 minutes, mix well and serve.
