Badami kheer

Badami kheer


Ingredients
  • Milk 1 kg
  • Rice 4 tbsp
  • Khoya 250gm
  • Sugar ¾ cup
  • Almonds 100 gm blanched and ground
  • Green cardamom powder ½ tsp heaped
Method
  • Soak rice for 1 hour and blend in ¼ cup of water coarsely,In a pan add milk with blended rice, cook stirring all the time till the mixture thickens and the rice becomes tender .
  • Then add sugar, cook for 5 minutes till the liquid dries, add khoya and almonds paste, cook for 10 minutes till thick, lastly add cardamom powder, remove in a clay pot bowl, serve garnish with waraq and sliced almonds.
